                      Sapota is sweet and delicious fruit. The fruit   is  round or oval shaped. This seeds have black and shiny. It is rich in calories. It is native to Mexico, Central   America and the Caribbean. . It is easily available in India. Its scientific name is Manika  Zapota .

                      It was light musky   flavor. Sapota contains vitamin A, vitamin B and   vitamin C and vitamin E. it is a source of minerals like copper, niacin, iron, iron, calcium and phosphorus. It packed with many nutrients. The unripe   fruit   has hard surface. It   presence   of  simple  like fructose and sucrose.

                       It is very popular in Gujarat, Maharashtra,   Karnataka  , Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. It helps with refreshing the body. These are used as chewing gum and other industrial products. Sapota  is  well known as CHIKOO. It used to make jam, jelly, and juice. It contains good source of essential nutrients. There are two varieties of sapota  Milky variety ( paal sapota ) , Plum variety (gundu sapota).
