DATES
The fruit is sweet and delicious
fruit. It is oval to cylindrical shape. The ripe dates are golden yellow,
amber, bright-red to deep brown depending on the cultivar type. The fruit
contains oil, calcium, sulfur, iron, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium,
manganese, copper, niacin and vitamin like vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin k.
“Khajoor” in Hindi, “pericham pazam” in Tamil, “kharjuramu” in Telugu, “Eentha
pazam” in Malayalam, “khajur” in Gujarati.
